Museu Nacional Arte Antiga Use Case
Year 2025
This project involved redesigning the homepage and the “Visit Us” page of the National Museum of Ancient Art. Our main goal was to create a clearer, more intuitive, and visitor‑friendly experience that could meet the needs of both international tourists and organized groups such as schools and tour operators.
We began by analysing the existing pages, identifying issues in clarity, navigation, and information accessibility. Pricing, location details, and visit instructions were often difficult to find or understand, which created unnecessary friction in the user journey. By mapping user needs and expectations, we were able to highlight the key decision‑making moments and the pain points that most affected the visit‑planning process.
The redesigned pages provide a more streamlined, transparent, and visually engaging experience. We ensured that essential information—such as ticket prices, opening hours, directions, and group visit options—is presented clearly and logically. Additionally, we improved the overall flow of the ticket‑purchase experience, making it easier for users to choose the right option and complete their booking confidently.
The final solution delivers a more welcoming and intuitive digital touchpoint, offering a smoother experience for visitors of all types and enhancing the museum’s ability to communicate value, accessibility, and cultural relevance.
